Tecron Firefyter C1 Fire Fighting Suit: EN 469 Fire Jacket & Trouser
The Firefyter C1 Fire Fighting Suit is a two-piece fire jacket and fire trouser set, designed and made according to EN 469. It uses a three-layer aramid construction (outer shell, moisture barrier and thermal barrier) and is supplied by EPAMT (Edaran PPE Arus Maju Trading) with nationwide delivery across Malaysia.
Fabric Construction
- Outer shell: aramid fabric, 93% meta aramid, 5% para aramid, 2% antistatic, twill weave, with a water repellent finish. Available in medium weight (210 g/m²) or heavy weight (260 g/m²).
- Moisture barrier: Aquaero™ aramid spunlace substrate laminated with a flame and heat resistant PTFE membrane (120 g/m²). The membrane is laminated to the substrate after a special stretching process to become microporous, water resistant, moisture permeating and breathable.
- Thermal barrier: 250 g/m² meta aramid and para aramid spunlace material with a sleek face cloth made of aramid and flame resistant cellulose fiber. Flame resistant, heat insulating, comfortable and easy to put on and take off.
Shell Weight Options
- Medium weight: lightweight and flexible, budget price and high value, designed and made according to EN 469.
- Heavy weight: heavy duty, strong and durable with more heat insulation, at an affordable price and high value, designed and made according to EN 469.
Available colours: dark navy, navy blue, yellow, orange and khaki.
Jacket Features
- Armpit triangle piece built in to facilitate arm lifting
- Flame resistant knit cuff with thumb loop to protect the wrist and keep the sleeve in position when the arm is lifted, lined with a moisture barrier to keep the cuff dry and comfortable
- Radio pocket on the left chest with mic loop, corners bar-tacked
- Drainage holes at the bottom of the pocket
- Front storm flap closed by zipper and touch tape
- Yellow reflective strips on the body and sleeves
Trouser Features
- Front closed with a sturdy zipper and securely fastened with flame resistant touch tape
- X-shape shoulder braces, adjustable and detachable
- Form fitting knee design to make bending easier and more comfortable, with a fibre insert pad to absorb pressure while kneeling
- Yellow reflective strips at the leg
Optional Features (on request)
- Inspection opening: opening in the jacket or trouser for inspecting the moisture barrier or thermal liner inside, to facilitate maintenance
- Anti-wicking lining: inside the jacket hem, sleeve hem and leg hem to stop water and moisture travelling up to keep the garment dry and comfortable
- DRD (drag rescue device): made of para aramid webbing, safe and durable, can be easily pulled out for emergencies
- Abrasion solution: elbow and knee patches, or sleeve and leg hems, with polymer coated aramid material for better abrasion and water resistance and longer garment life
- Fire hood (EN 13911): aramid knit material, soft and comfortable, giving extra protection to the firefighter’s face and neck, designed to NFPA 1971 and EN 13911 requirements
